Everything that happens within us – feelings, reactions, and relationships as well as experiences and memories – happens right now in the present. And all that happens within us forms a certain Gestalt, a shape, figure or form that effects how we live our life. By getting to know these inner landscapes better, we can start to influence them and change our life.
In Gestalt therapy, we bring a Gestalt into our awareness in order to know it better. What does it look like? How does it feel? Is it enriching my life or making it harder? How is it when I get in touch with it? When we attentively encounter a certain Gestalt, we bring it to life and can begin to shape, change and heal it.
This is how Gestalt therapy gives us more liberty and abundance; it broadens our access to ourselves and others. It broadens our scope of action and capability. When we do this work mindfully and in our own rhythm, we begin to reclaim and bring to life more of ourselves. Our life becomes more creative, self-determined and connected.
As a Gestalt therapist, I am an open-minded and reliable companion. I create the space and offer tools for self-discovery, development and orientation. I do not work with preconceived solutions or general formulas that are applied to all clients. My approach and attitude is firmly rooted in Gestalt theory: I work here and now and orient myself by what the client experiences and needs in the present. I accompany my clients in all their processes with my full attention and competence.
